Hi All
We have all had a lovely first week back, it has been great to see our returning children settle in well and welcome some of our new children during their settling-in visits. We look forward to welcoming more of our new children next week 😊The children have been busy exploring the environment inside and outside despite the weather. Particular favourites this week have been the role play, construction, writing and the mud kitchen areas.
Next week we will have a focus on “All about me” so please do send in any photos that we can display and share with the children.
Reminders
– Waterproof clothing / wellies: We do have lots of waterproof jackets and trousers but if used in the morning they are not dry in time for the afternoon session, so if you do have any spare waterproof clothing that you could bring in / leave that would be very helpful on very rainy days.
– Spare clothes: Can we please ask that you bring in several spare clothes for your child including spare socks.
– Snack: Any weekly snack donation is very welcome on any day of the week. We welcome any fruit and vegetables and savoury snacks such as crackers, bread sticks or rice cakes. Also, next week we are going to be making fresh orange juice so any oranges would be very much appreciated.
– Parking: Can we please remind you that there is no parking on site. We understand this is not ideal but for safety reasons and limited parking this is something we can not permit. There is also no parking in the neighbours’ car park or in the private drive in front of their houses. You can park up Fox close or in the Co-op carpark if driving to Nursery School. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
-Messaging on tapestry: You may have noticed a new feature on Tapestry where you can now message individual staff members. Your message this will be checked like emails so if it is anything urgent please do speak with us directly.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend and we look forward to seeing you next week.
Best wishes
Zoe
